This rubbing of an inscription on a stone stele discovered at a roadside temple in Gwanbuk-ri of Buyeo includes a record that a man named Saetaek Jijeok, lamenting his old age, decided to take refuge in Buddhism and built a temple. Because the stele was discovered in Buyeo, the Baekje capital, and there was once a high-ranking government official named Jijeok, it is thought to be a relic of the late Baekje Period. The record is written in the “four-six parallel prose style” of the Six Dynasties Period (220 or 222-589) and the grand Ouyang Xun calligraphic style.
