This is a typical Korean-type socketed spearhead found at Eungam-dong in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. Unlike Liaoning-type lute-shaped socketed spearheads, this one is straighter and, as with the Korean-type bronze dagger, the spine of its body had a protruding part. This socketed spearhead has a long groove called a pihom, meaning “blood groove,” on the left and right sides of its spine. On the side right above the mouth of the socket of the handle, a nail-hole was punched to fix the spear after inserting the handle into the socket.
