Introduction
- Beating: A Multisensory Experience Exhibition on Korean Buddhist Bells
- The Room of Senses is located between the Celadon Gallery and Metal Crafts Gallery in the Sculpture and Crafts Section of the museum.
- This space offers new kinds of experiences by engaging multiple senses—sight, sound, and touch—drawing upon works from the Sculpture and Craft Section.
- The first exhibition, Beating, is a multisensory experience exploring the acoustic principles behind the sounds of Korean Buddhist bells.
- You are invited to experience the sound of the Sacred Bell of Great King Seongdeok (National Treasure), specifically the acoustic phenomenon of beat resonance, through video, sound, vibrations, and other tactile elements.
