A Neolithic log boat was found at the site of Bibong-ri in Changnyeong. In addition, images of people on boats hunting whales were depicted on the Banggudae petroglyphs in Ulsan. Japanese Jomon pottery found at the Dongsam-dong site in Busan also illustrates that Neolithic people actively crossed the seas on boats.
