Double-rim Pottery
Double-rim was made by adding a clay band around the vessel rim. It is one of the latest types of Neolithic pottery and is almost entirely undecorated.
Comb-pattern Pottery
This type of pottery was decorated by incising diagonal lines forming a comb pattern. Vessels featuring diagonal lines in which both ends had been firmly pressed to make marked impressions have been discovered at the Dongsam-dong Shell Midden.
Stamped Pottery
This type of pottery features patterns that were pressed onto the vessel surface using a pointed or rounded tool. It is one of the earliest known types of pottery, dating to the Early Neolithic period.
Raised-design Pottery
This type of pottery was decorated by attaching clay bands to the vessel surface. It is the earliest type of Neolithic pottery identified on the Korean Peninsula, excluding Gosan-ri-type pottery.
