Barrier-Free Smart Exhibition Hall Service

Barrier-free Smart Galleries
*The provided sign language and braille services are based on Korean sign language and braille.

The 'Barrier-Free Smart Exhibition Hall' offers tailored guidance to all, including people with/without disabilities. The AI kiosks on each floor automatically adjust their height to correspond with the user’s eye level, and can interact through voice, sign language, or braille.

Put your questions in sign language to the on-screen 3D avatar. The avatar is equipped with sensors, so it will understand you and respond helpfully.

Navigate the museum with the braille pad and voice search. Braille and audio guidance will quickly help you find the services you need.

The screen contrast and size are fully adjustable for maximum clarity and ease of use. Multilingual services also provide information in English, Chinese, or Japanese.

Use your mobile phone to enhance your museum experience. To access services, simply scan the QR code on the kiosk screen, or click the Go to the Smart Exhibition Hall Mobile Service link. Follow the instructions (in sign language if you prefer) and discover the best routes recommended by the mobile chatbot to conveniently explore the exhibition halls.

The Smart Exhibition Hall service is available at the National Museum of Korea, the Gyeongju National Museum, the Gwangju National Museum, and the Buyeo National Museum. We are committed to creating an inclusive museum experience for everyone, including those with auditory and visual impairments, wheelchair users, and the elderly.
