Jar with Dragon and Cloud, White porcelain painted in underglaze iron-brown

Featuring a form typical of the early Joseon period, this jar is decorated with a design of a dragon displaying a dignified vigor with a body comprised of dense scales, all executed in skilled brushwork with iron-brown underglaze. It is presumed to have been used as a liquor container for royal mourning rituals.
