Bowl, White porcelain

This bowl is a typical example of the products from the official court kiln. With the establishment of the official court kiln in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do Province, the quality of clay and glaze was improved, and each of the royal wares was fired in a saggar. These hard-paste white porcelain wares had a dense body and flawless white glazed surface.
