The right hand of this gilt-bronze standing Sakyamuni displays the gesture of the “dispelling of fear mudra”, while the left hand shows that of the “granting of compassion mudra”. The pedestal is adorned with lotus flowers. The Sakyamuni has a topknot of curled hair and a genial facial expression, and there are three wrinkles on his neck. The folds of the U-shaped robe are draped over both shoulders.
