This earthenware jar was unearthed from Songguk-ri in Chochon-myeon, Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do. It has a rounded body and a large mouth extending outward at its rim. Such vessels, like pottery with a perforated rim unearthed from Bronze Age sites, were gradually replaced by long-necked jars like those discovered at Songguk-ri.
