These light-green tubular jades were unearthed from the archaeological site in Songguk-ri, Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do, which was a large village in the midwestern area of Bronze Age Korea. A total of seventeen tubular jade ornaments were discovered in a stone coffin tomb. It is presumed that jade accessories were buried with the dead to signify their special status.
