This round bronze object, which was unearthed at Goejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, looks like a lid. A knob is attached to its upper part. Chinese researchers presumed that objects such as this were horse head accessories, but it is highly possible that they were ritual implements used to make sounds, given that those unearthed in Korea were either broken or cracked when they were found.
