These sarira reliquaries discovered in the West Pagoda of Gameunsa Temple consist of a pavilion-shaped sarira chest placed in a gilt-bronze box, and a crystal bottle seated on a lotus pedestal arranged in a jewel bead with flame design, which is located at the center of the sarira chest. The gilt-bronze outer chest is decorated with the Four Guardian Kings, each carved on one of the four sides, with a pair of loop handles attached to a stud in the shape of an animal head on each side of each deity. The jewel bead embellished with a flame design at the center of the chest is surrounded by celestial musicians and boy attendants, while each elephant eye design around the base contains an image of a heavenly deity.
