One of two depictions of Jeongyangsa Temple housed at the National Museum of Korea, this painting focuses on the temple without any detailed portrayal of the surrounding landscape. Legend has it that King Taejo, the first ruler of the Joseon Dynasty, founded this temple after a personal encounter with Bodhisattva Dharmodgata.
