Crown Prince Sado (1735-1762), King Yeongjo’s second son, was 10 years
old when he wedded his crown princess, later Lady Hyegyeong, in 1744(20th year of King Yeongjo). This Uigwe includes a Banchado illustration capturing the procession escorting the crown princess to the palace. The illustration is identical to the one previously created for Crown Prince Hyojang’s wedding in terms of its page count and the procession’s composition.
