Jar-shaped Pottery (Songguk-ri-type Pottery)
This type of pottery has a mouth that flares slightly outwards, a rounded body, and a narrow base. Over time, the flaring mouth became more pronounced, and the base wider. Such vessels are mostly found in the Hoseo and Honam regions but also appear in the Yeongnam region and Jeju Island, showing a very wide distribution. Vessels of this type are also known as Songguk-ri-type pottery after the Songguk-ri site in Buyeo.
