Vessels of this pottery type feature a line of perforations below the rim. Originating in the Duman River region, such vessels were used throughout the central and southern parts of the Korean Peninsula. The holes were punched using a thin tool with a rounded end. Holes punched only halfway through are sometimes referred to as bump patterns.
