Bronze Age Grave Goods

Bronze Age burials feature daggers, arrowheads, beads, and pottery, which were used as grave goods. The majority of daggers were made of stone but bipa-shaped bronze daggers have been discovered in some burials. Single daggers tend to be found in burials and it is only rarely that more than two daggers were used as grave goods. In the case of stone arrowheads, less than five were usually deposited as grave goods but in some cases, more than 20 stone arrowheads have also been found within burials. Personal ornaments mainly comprise round and tubular stone beads. Red burnished pottery, which is believed to have served a ritual function, tends to be found in burials, but not utilitarian wares.
