This is a rubbed copy of the copperplate discovered at the stupa of the Buddhist monk Yeomgeo (National Treasure No. 104). Yeomgeo was a disciple of Doui and a teacher of Chejing. He was the second founder of the Gajisan Sect of Korean Buddhism. The record is the first concerning a stupa erected in honor of monk; the stupa is the oldest extant stupa in the country.
