Gold Earrings

This earring, discovered in Neung-dong, Seoul, has the characteristic structure of Goguryeo earrings, with several small ornaments dangling from a thick upper ring. In this case, the dangling ornaments include a small band, a hollow bead, and a cone-shaped pendant, all of which are exquisitely decorated with fine gold thread and tiny gold granules. This type of earring is believed to have strongly influenced the resplendent earrings of the Silla Kingdom.
