Celadon Maebyeong(Plum bottle) with inlaid inscription of Ul-yu-sa-on-seo

"Saonseo," a government office that used to supply the liquor and sweet liquor needed by the royal court during the Goryeo Dynasty, is that Maebyeong[Plum bottle] engraved on its body. This suggests that during the Goryeo Dynasty, the bottle was used to hold liquid substances such as alcohol. The bottle was made in 1345, the late Goryeo Dynasty, and has less color or form of beauty than the celadon in its heyday. However, the names and years of the government office that used the bottle are clearly written, making it a valuable resource for studying the history of society and culture during the Goryeo Dynasty.
