Octagonal Bottle with Plum, White porcelain painted in underglaze cobalt-blue

This is a white porcelain jar with a body faceted into eight sides. It is decorated with a design of flowering plum branches enclosed in an ogival frame painted with cobalt-blue underglaze on the front and back sides. On either side are poetic inscriptions meaning that when intoxicated, the sky and earth appear large and the bottle appears to contain the sun and the moon.
