Cup and Stand with Inscription of the “Taeiljeon”

This cup has a saucer that resembles a low dish with
a slightly outturned lip; the main surface of the
saucer (i.e., the topside) is inscribed “太一殿” (Taeiljeon),
which refers to a Taoist shrine for the god of
the pole star. Such shrines were located in both the
capital and provinces.
