This glass sarira bottle – unearthed during the dismantling of the Five-story Stone Pagoda in Wanggung-ri, Iksan, in 1965 – features an elegant green body with a long neck and a matching gold cap in the shape of a lotus bud with eight petals. The contrast between the brilliant gold of the cap and the attractive green body of the bottle makes it a fine work of art and one of the most valuable treasures of its kind in Korea.
