Gyeongguk Daejeon, or Complete Code of National Governance, is the official law book of the Joseon Dynasty, containing 319 provisions that formed the legal foundation of the society. The Complete Code of National Governance is divided into six codes for the six Joseon ministries: Personnel, Taxation, Rites, Military Affairs, Justice, and Public Works.
