This is a celadon pitcher shaped like a Taoist figure upholding a fairyland pear. The clothes, the crown adorned with a phoenix, and the appearance of a fairyland pear make one guess that the figure is a Taoist figure, perhaps the Queen Mother of the West, a leading female deity of Taoism, who is said to have presented a pear of eternal life to Emperor Wudi of Han China. The lid of the pitcher is gone. The pitcher has a handle attached to its back.
