This gilt-bronze standing Buddha has a voluminous body over the contours of which the folds of the robe flow naturally. The right hand appears to have been attached separately. The high, round form of the protuberance on the top of the head and the unique appearance of the face display the characteristic liveliness of gilt-bronze Buddha statues from the early Unified Silla period.
