This is a calligraphic work by King Injo (r. 1623-1649), the sixteenth ruler of the Joseon Dynasty. It describes the refreshing feeling one feels at daybreak on a spring day. One of the three seal impressions on this work contains the king’s pen-name, Songchang (松窓).
