This is a rubbed copy of the epitaph of the monument erected for the Buddhist Monk Wonjong of the early Goryeo period at the Godalsa Temple Site in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do. The epitaph contains information about his family, birth, activities, achievements as an eminent monk, and death. It is an important artifact concerning the status of Buddhism during the early Goryeo Period.
