This is the transcription of Volume 7 of the Saddharmapundarika Sutra (The Lotus Sutra), written in ink on white paper. According to the postscript, Sin Un made this transcription, along with other transcriptions of other scriptures, such as the Brahmajala Sutra (The Sutra of Brahma’s Net), the Vajracchedika prajnaparamita Sutra (The Diamond Sutra) and “The King of Aspirations by Samantabhadra Bodhisattva” from the Avatamsaka Sutra (The Flower Garland Sutra). The cover is said to have been exquisitely adorned with gold and silver. Unfortunately, the cover is missing.
