Dongguksegi (Records on the Ancestors of Yi Seong-gye and the Foundation of the Joseon Dynasty) records the process by which Yi Seong-gye, along with Yi Ji-ran, founded the Joseon Dynasty, and the author’s personal wish that the dynasty last forever.
