This is a replica of a pair of red phoenixes painted on the southern wall in the burial chamber of the Gangseodaemyo Tomb. The red phoenixes are facing each other, with the entrance to the burial chamber between them. The energetic phoenixes are nicely portrayed with wide open eyes, an S-shaped neck and body, widespread wings, and a strongly curled-up three-thronged tail feather, while the entrance to the burial chamber is adorned with scroll designs.
