Candlesticks were produced in two broad styles during the Goryeo Period. One involves a candlestick with a cylinder-shaped support to hold a candle on top, and the other involves a candlestick like this one whose top is a flat disk shaped to hold a candle. This candlestick consists of three parts: pedestal, prop, and support. Note that the pedestal has three legs in the form of animal legs.
