Daejeonhusongnok (Sequel of the Supplement of the Grand Code of the State) is a code of law compiled at the command of King Jungjong in 1543 (the 38th year of King Jungjong’s reign) based on its predecessor, Daejeonsongnok (Supplement of the Grand Code of the State), in compliance with the basic philosophy contained in Gyeonggukdaejeon (The National Code). It was made also by referring to the royal orders made over the preceding fifty-two years and the orders issued by the six ministries.
