Polished stone daggers are then representative weapons of the Bronze Age. Few such daggers are found in China or Japan, but a great number of them have been excavated from dolmens and stone coffin tombs on the Korean Peninsula. The daggers usually consist of a blade and hilt in one unit, though some of them have a tang rather than a hilt.
