This is a painting of a gathering of former and incumbent officials of the Ministry of Taxation. This painting doesn’t have a title, but it includes the list of the names of the participants by order of rank. The person sitting center top looks older than and is dressed differently from the others, indicating that he was a special figure at the gathering. Paintings of such gatherings of officials developed with a new focus on the gathering itself rather than on the surroundings in mid-16th century Joseon. This painting is a typical example of such a change in the painting style.
