This is a painting of Qing soldiers by Kim Yun-gyeom (1711-1775), a famous painter from the late Joseon period. These Qing Dynasty troops are portrayed realistically by the painter, who was influenced by true-view landscape paintings. The light and dark effects reflected in the faces of the soldiers and the folds in their clothes suggest the influence of the Western painting style of China.
