Once-in-a-Lifetime Celebration of National Treasures and Treasures


The National Museum of Korea is presenting the largest number of treasures and national treasures collected in one place in its history.

Only for 69 days!

The National Museum of Korea is very proud to present a special exhibition introducing Korean cultural properties that were designated as treasures or national treasures from 2017 to 2019.

State-designated cultural properties, including the Joseon wangjo sillok (Annals of the Joseon Dynasty), the definitive recorded Korean heritage; the Reliquaries from Wangheungsa Temple Site, Buyeo; Painting of Endless Mountains and Rivers by Yi In-mun; and Miindo (Portrait of a Beauty) by Shin Yun-bok, all of which are only rarely accessible, are being unveiled here to the public.

This exhibition will provide visitors with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the beauty and value of around 100 designated treasures and national treasures and from approximately forty institutions, temples, and private collections.
