What if you could encounter national treasures right in your own neighborhood?
Presented by the National Museum of Korea, Tour of National Treasures is a traveling exhibition that brings these precious items to you, saving you a long journey.
In 2026, its third year of operation, Tour of National Treasures will visit Jincheon, Yeongam, Uiryeong, Gochang, Seongju, and Cheongdo.
Treasures that are widely known but rarely seen in person are now waiting for you at your local museum.
At public museums in six different regions, visitors can discover:
Ritual Bronze Object with Farming Scenes, reflecting the life and beliefs of Bronze Age people
The gold crown from Geumnyeongchong Tomb, which tells the story of bidding farewell to a young soul
Patterned bricks exemplifying the sophisticated skill and style of the Baekje people
Inlaid celadon capturing the natural world beloved by the Goryeo people
A white porcelain moon jar, with its soft round shape resembling a full moon
Blue-and-white porcelain reflecting the elegance and dignity of the Joseon royal court.
The National Museum of Korea wishes to share the experience of encountering our cultural heritage in a place close to you.
We hope this exhibition allows you to meet these treasures, which may have once felt distant, up close in a more comfortable setting.
