The NMK welcomed the twenty-millionth visitor
The number of visitors to the NMK has reached twenty-million around 10:40 a.m. on August 7, 2012, after six years and nine months since its relocation to Yongsan in October, 2005. The lucky person was Um Ji-yeon from Gyeonggi-do Province, South Korea who was visiting with her children. She said that it was her third visit to the museum and she was surprised that she can grab such a golden opportunity.
The Director Kim Young-na presented a reproduction of white porcelain, two plane tickets to Jeju island and a museum catalogue to Um Ji-yeon. In addition, a total of ten visitors in the front and back of the 20 millionth who barely missed the luck were also presented with cultural goods of the museum.
