    The Civilization of Maya

 

 

 

     Location : Special Exhibition Gallery in the Permanent Exhibition Hall, 1F

 

        Date      : 09-04-2012 ~ 10-28-2012

 

This exhibition, which focuses on ‘the life and death of the Mayan people’, was organized in order to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Mexico, and Korea and Guatemala. It examines, chronologically, the history, religion, myths, astronomy, divination, and script of the civilization of Maya, which forms the basis of Mesoamerican civilization.
